Tier Four Completes Power Augment

Tier Four today completed a 1 Megawatt power augment at the Salt Lake City, Utah data center.

Tier Four's engineering team, in cooperation with Salmon Electric and EELD, have been working for several months to prepare for the power augment which was completed today.

As part of this project, two new, MGE, 500KW UPS Systems were installed and cut into the primary power grid. Four downstream PDUs take power from the new UPS systems and feed it to customers in the data center. The new UPS systems add needed capacity to Tier Four's data center and provide a foundation for continued growth.
