Beta Customer Portal Released

Tier Four's development team is pleased to announce the release of Account Insight version 1.0 beta 3.

In early 2007, Tier Four began migrating customer information from the old customer access application into the new customer portal system.

Account Insight is your portal to view information about the services that Tier Four provides to you. Account Insight currently provides the following basic functionality:

  • Edit basic account information
  • View services provisioned on your account
  • View certain usage data related to those services
  • view trouble tickets

In the future, Account Insight will also allow you to:

  • Manage DNS online
  • Pay your bills online
  • Request additional services online

The current release of Account Insight is beta software. You use this software at your own risk and peril. If you notice any peculiarities about how the web interface functions, or if you encounter problems with the application, please send an email to aibugs at tierfour.com.

Please be aware of the following known issues and bugs which should be resolved with the release of 1.0 final:

  • New users added to accounts do not have adequate permissions
  • Certain permissions are added to accounts which accounts should not have
  • Edits do not always reflect immediately in the web interface. The data may occasionally appear to have not changed.
  • Internet Explorer has many problems with the XHTML syntax and may not work to view the application
  • Old trouble tickets are not visible in the system
